Thanks to you all for your kind comments. Shooting in Alaska during the summer required stamina. We shot from first light until it was too dark to shoot available light. So 16 hour shooting days were common. The sun didn't get too high in the sky so we had very sweet light for much of the morning and late afternoon. That combined with plentiful wildlife made for an exceptional experience. I highly recommend Alaska as a photo destination and we're going back next year.

It sounds like you had a perfect time in Alaska: good weather, a great group of passionate photographers and friends, and plenty of opportunities, with some stunning shots to show for! Well done, sir! :lol:
