Like them both differently... :smile:

I really like the mist/fog in the morning version but would probably crop out the bottom
just enough to eliminate the dark central shadow on the water...

I like both of these, Jim, but I'm probably more partial to the second one because of the morning fog. Both images are beautiful, however!

Both are fine. And that shadow is in my eyes not so disturbing. After all, there was shadow in reality I think?

I wonder if the fog was visible for you when you took the picture.
Anyway, I prefer the second one as it seems more alive

Thanks Lyndee, Rob, and Nico. Actually, I waited quite a while for the fog to lift before starting to shoot, so I certainly was aware of it.

Very nice. I like both, but I like the evening shot a little better.

Thanks, folks. I prefer the evening photo too. It's hard to get a really good morning shot because the hills keep the sun off until late morning.
