Hand-Held 1/4" at 200mm with a D200? How can it be?

    This shot, last night (it's still raining hard here so I'm playing indoors) with the D200 at 1/4" exposure, ISO-800, using Expodisk for WB, the light was a single floor lamp with a shaded halogen bulb. (Exif data embedded.)

    Okay, so I "cheated" a little.....this is from my Nikon 18-200VR lens.
     
  4. That VR is amazing....my 70-200 has put out sharp 1/5 sec shots at 200mm if I let it stabilize enough.
    What a cute kitty :smile:
    I love cats- I've got 3, but one is big enough to be considered a small lion.
     
  5. Ken this is a super sharp image for those conditions. Love your cat! Cant wait to see more of what you do with this combo.
