A few weeks ago I got some pics of the Black-Bellied Whistling Ducks and their ducklings

I really liek the first shot with the upright Lillypad as a backdrop
Me too! That's the one that is my favorite as well....
Fun series of images Harry. The ducklings look like they are having fun.
First one's cool, Harry but my favorite is the one with the 3 on the lily pad with the lily blossom. Nice exposure on that one!! And the little guy in the back scratching is cute!
Nice series Harry. I'm glad to see that they are still hanging in there. Hopefully they will be big enough soon that most of the predators will not bother them. Now if the gators will just stay away from them.
Harry - WOW!
Thanks Mike. Its nice when they know just where to waddle to.
Glad you liked it Leigh
Thanks Gordon. They were having ducky fun as they were constantly diving for and eating food.
They are extremely cute and a lot of fun to watch since they are in constant motion.
Thanks Frank. They are doing better than last year's group. Last year we started out with 2 parents and 12 ducklings and at the end there was only one parent and one duckling surviving. So far we started out with 24 ducklings and we are holding steady at 9.
Thank you very much Angelo.
Very nice shots, Harry! I keep hoping that one year the BBWDs that visit the pond here will have ducklings, but none so far. They are really fun to see and I'm sure even more fun to watch.
Thanks very much Don. They are a lot of fun to watch. My wife who is a non-birder and non-shooter makes me take her down to the wetlands just so she can see these guys do their stuff.
These are terrific shots.
