Harp Ensemble on 21 Dec 05

    my 1st posting of pics. critiques and comments much appreciated. :redface:

    my wife school's Harp Ensemble gave a christmas performance tonite at one of the shopping mall downtown. i went down with some friends to catch the performance and to shoot some pics.

    #1 - the Ensemble on stage. shot with my D2h and tamron 17-35mm/f2.8-4. done in ambient light.

    #2 - one of the student performers. this is captured with a AF-D 80-200/f2.8.

    ..cont'd... with a D200!

    haha... thanks to Nikon Singapore, espn managed to get hold of 2 production sets of D200... and a few long lens (200mm/f2 VR, 300/f2.8 etc...). these equipment was meant for a public event to be held on Boxing Day, which espn and some others are helping out.

    now... if one got a D200 and some exotic long lens on hand, its a no-brainer wat i did. d2h went back into my bag...

    #3 - Harp instructor. D200 with 300/f2.8, hand-held. ISO 800. shot in jpg. only PS done was resizing.

  3. All good photography, but the 2nd photo really emphasizes her attention to her music.Nicely done!

    Very good shots. I especially like no. 2. The way it is looking through the strings is great.

    Gordon - haha... #2 took me a few tries to get this one. but, i'm glad u found it nice. :redface:
