Harvest Moon

    I usually don't do this kind of shooting, but on occasion I have been known to bend the rules slightly :biggrin:


    Anyway, a true harvest moon, shot with D2X and 500/4 + TC14E

    I like your shots usually. They are different than any I have ever seen before. I mean that as a compliment of course.

    Hm. That's the correct orientation, Gale. Couldn't get both the moon and its reflection into one shot, so I had to select one of them. The calm surface of this forest lake made the choice obvious, but as things usually happen, wind immediately started to ripple the surface once I had set up my tripod and camera. The leaping fish was a bonus, however.
