    Hi

This is an image I took 6 months ago and wanted to do something pretty radical.............so messed about a bit.

OK it is just for fun and way OTT, but wanted to share and hope you like.

Would welcome any comments, help and/or criticism.

    All the best

    That is spectacular Ray.

Only one nit. You do this often. Your water and sky do not reflect the same colors :>)))

Other than that.. wow what can I say except how the heck (ll) to do it.

I am going to send all my landscapes I have to you.. I might have 3. lolololol

All I have is birdies and flowers.
    Want some flowers :>)))))))

  3. Hi, Ray, you are busy!

I agree with Gale there is a color disparity in your image which is a little jarring. I really like your original image and would have preferred a P & L treatment on that image. I'm not sure what you gain by OTT in this case.

    Just my "pence" worth.

    Hi Virginia and Gale

Many thanks for the posts and comments.

I know what you mean about the sky.

I often take the sky layer, duplkicate it, transform with vertical flip and place over water and then adjust opacity to adjust the reflection.

On this one I deliberately wanted to go OTT and sort of "jar" the imagination.

    However, it should really match.

I am going to do a PWL on thyat image for Virginia as I think you are right.

A version of the original with some pop.

    Very best wishes

    Ray

Interested to know what you think of this version.

Took about 5 minutes to do but off to work - you know , that thing that gets in the way of photography!

    Very best wishes

  9. Hey Ray..

I stole your photo  ...hope you don't mind  ....but you inspired me to try that technique out some more. I tried to recreate some of what you did and managed a tiny bit.....still working to understand it...really cool

    What do you think...

  10. I like it. The trees on the right are a lot softer than in Ray's version.

 glad you like it. It is a bit wierd & OTT though....

Ray hasn't said anything so I think he's mad at me for stealing his photo

Ray I have had all day to look at that retouch. I really like it. The original one.

All the rest are good but keep going to the first.
I think all the retouchers did a good job.
    Each vision is lovely. :>))))
Amazing you can have so many pictures in one :>)))
