Thanks for looking!
wow - I popped in here expecting to see a portrait, but you really meant head shot! Nice catch.
Ha! Thanks Fred!
Catchy title, and interesting POV.
Thank you merlin, Nick, & Al!
I suggest you go back to the color version and make the helmet very different in tone than the punchee's face so, after conversion, the fact that it is his face is clearly visible.
Right now the helmet and face are sort of a blur.
Also, perhaps cropping to give it more intensity and increasing the contrast so the whites are whiter and the darks darker.
Thanks so much, Lew, for your comments. I like the focus of your crop. There aren't many whites in the original. The walls are beige, and the fighter on the left is wearing yellow shirt and shorts. I know exactly what you are saying about the face. Unfortunately I didn't have the fastest lens, and that whole area has a lot of noise. It is very difficult to separate the face from the rim of the helmet, as they meld into each other. Just like the punch, this is a strike to the face, but not quite a knockout!
Excellent catch & point of view, Dossy!
Good choice of title.
The referee in the back is a great bonus.
