Help animal shelter win a $25,000 grant

Discussion in 'General Discussion' started by Czechman01, Oct 5, 2008.

  1. Greetings,

The animal shelter where I volunteer has an annual budget of almost $500k, all of which is raised through donations and events we sponsor.

We have an opportunity to win a $25,000 grant in an open voting contest sponsored by The Animal Rescue Site. and I'm asking for your vote. It's simple and you will not wind up on a mailing list.

    1. Go to The Animal Rescue Site.
    2. Click on the purple "give free food" box.
    3. Click the “Vote Now” button (upper right area of screen)
    4. Scroll down to the purple box and type in SAFE Haven for Cats and select NC
    5. Click “vote” next to our name
    6. Type in the type of animal you see (in all lower case letters) and click the “confirm vote” button
    7. You should then get confirmation of your vote.
    8. Return to the site every day and vote for SAFE Haven!!

Thank you for your help. SAFE Haven is a no-kill shelter and over 90 cents of every dollar goes directly to the care and adoption of the cats. It's one of those rare places filled with positive energy where good things happen.

    Thank you.

I voted. Browsed around at some states and shelters. There's so many. So sad. We adopted a retired racer a long while ago. I just can't think why anyone wouldn't rescue. :frown: But that's me.
