Sorry for posting this in this forum. But I thought I am more likely to get an answer here from our friendly, knowledgable members than from other places. I moved in a new house this summer. Now I notices several trees are sick.

This is a cherry blum (?) in the front yard, it looks seriously sick comparing to the same type tree in the back. It's leaf, root area and a crosscut of a dead branch were shown. What do I need to do to save it?

Problems also noticed on these Japanese maples (?), it appears they are infested. I don't what bug it is. Do I need to something before it becomes too late?

Thanks guys, got some answers from a local specialist in Lowes garden dept. The japanese maples are normal. The cherry is probably suffering from malnutrition for a while; however, nothing needs to be done now since the tree is going to dormant state in several weeks and so are the whatever bugs who tried to take advantage here. Will need treatment (food and protection) before next spring. Hopefully next year, I will work on it and see a difference.
