Help With Bird ID....

    Location is near Portland, Oregon. The red eyes and distinctive purple central head and beak markings and light bill color are making it hard. I've spent a while going through Sibley's and can't find it.


    Auklet of some kind?

    Thanks guys, wouldn't you know right after I posted it, Sibley's popped open and there was Fulica americana. Thnks, nice image bill.
