I went down to the duck pond this morning a few minutes after sunrise and had one of my better days. Here is a series of a couple of very vocal gooses. 8) The first guy was flying in the shadows in the early morning light, so he's kind of underexposed in some areas, but I still think these are funny shots and worth sharing.

    All taken with the D2H / 300mm f2.8 + TC-14EII.

    Yack, yack, yack....

    More yacks:

More, well, you get the idea

Here's the other guy. He was just as vocal:

    Flare-out (yackety, yackety....;-)):

    Splashdown (still yackin'):

Sublime Frank, love those birds with their big mouth
  9. Not to be too picky, but I believe that in American English that should be "Geese" and not "Gooses". I believe that "Gooses" has an entirely different meaning, unless you were doing something else whilst taking pictures, multi-tasking so to speak..... .

So, on the Geese. Let's see, birds not level, wings cut off. some "funny placements", yup, I like every one of them

This illustrates how "the moment" is the point, doesn't it?

Now you just need to record that audio along with them
  10. Gee, Frank, what did you say to these guys to get them so fired up!

Great series! The second one I like the best.
