A contrast in scale, that's for sure!

That "statue is very cool, and soooo huge! What's is made from, and where's it located? Love the way they depict it going over a bump in the road.
  4. Great shot!! :D  :D  :D  :D

    In Calistoga....

right where the Silverado Trail turns in to town. It's at the Calistoga water factory. The beauty of the day didn't hurt either!
  6. Very nice, Pat!

Good exposure, interesting subject, I bet there's a lot of detail in that shot.

    Thanks for posting -
  7. Man that is one big truck statue. Nicely done Pat. The subject is interesting and the lady gives it scale.
  8. Hey Pat,

That's a tough shot! With half the truck in full sun and the other in full shade there's no easy way to get it all but I think you did a marvelous job especially when you consider there's a subject in the photo.

    Very nice!

Uhh, ok, where would that be?

    What state is that in?
  10. Hi Pat,

I agree with the others, that is one huge statue and a nice shot!

Steve, Calistoga is at the northern end of the Napa Valley in Northern California. They have (spring) water there... which is kinda needed with all the wine in the area!

    Btw, nice pic, pbenedic!

    Thnx Philippe,

Those darn Californians always assume everybody else knows where everything is in their state! ;)
