Here's my try with distortion

Discussion in 'Miscellany' started by daodang, Dec 3, 2005.

  1. Using the technique posted by JPS (thanks J-P, it's so fun), I transformed an ordinary pelican picture (captured in Carnaveral harbour after a delicious lunch with Gale and Kevin at the TIKI bar  ) into this «montreous something» (see the lonely eye looking at you!)

    That is beautiful..
How great for you to remember out great lunch at my favorite place.
I thought of you today at the wet lands. Tried to get a shot for you. but not to sure it turned out to well. Will have to get it to PS first.

But anyway know I think of you often.
  3. Dao, is this how having lunch with Gale and Kevin made you feel? Only kidding! Watch out...polar co-ordinates can really get you...great eye!

  4. wow, you guys are killing me with your creative eye. nice work Dao.
  5. Wow ! What a neat one !!! So many little details in the feathers, and this EYE looking at you...

    Great job !!!

  6. Wow, Dao! Those feathers are surreal! I really like the way the beak is distorted around and then sharp again at the tip! Talk about "bitin' ya in the @$$"!!

Hope we didn't have that affect on you after our lunch! Like Gale, I think about you often and am tempted to go out w/o my camera but can't leave home without it.

Take care my Canadian friend!!
  7. Well done Dao, you have made a work of art.
  8. It is a fun technique. This has to be one of the best I have seen with it!
  9. My friends, glad you enjoy the distortion.
    Kind regards.
