Pretty rainy today, but just had to get out. So, put on my rain gear and a rain coat for the camera. Still getting the hang of the D200, these with the 300 & tc1.4 either ISO 800 or 1250.

BH -Got fairly close in the rain, lots of these guys flying around today:

    Wood Duck, Mom and duckling

Rock Dove (Feral Pigeon, I think), but how pretty:

A Tree of Swallows - I just liked this image:smile:

Shooting with a new camera in a rain protector is a very interesting experience. But here in Oregon you miss way too many opportunities if you don't use one. Also beside the Wood Ducks (ISO 400), everything else was either 800 or 1250.
  2. very nice Jeff

I will agree with you on the Tree of Swallows image. I like that one a lot!

    Thanks Randy and Gale.

Andy - yes I think I like it because you can just keep looking and seeing stuff. It was just a test shot to see if I could hand hold the 1.4 & 300 din the rain coat and shoot.
  6. Very Nice stuff Jeff
