    What a pisser idea!

    It's snowing here again :(

Our official total from the weekend storm was THIRTY SIX inches. We're supposed to get another 3-8 today. Since I deplore winter, I guess it's needles to say that I think this stinks?

I am sooooooo looking forwards to seeing you guys in FLA in mere 3 weeks!

    Hi Jim!!

Gee, I wish we had snow like that down here (NOT!!)....

Welcome to the new forum. We don't know how this is going to go, but thought it was worth a try. We'll see whether it grows or just peters out so to speak. :?

I'm working on the Merritt session web page. I have a bunch of good info from Doug Johanson and I've got maps coming today. I'll let everyone know when it's ready for prime time.

That place rings a bell. Worked for DuPont and three of us landed at airport in Philadephia for meetings the next day at corporate in Wilmington. Escort picked us up and we stopped at a place in Cherry Hill for dinner after crossing the river. Was a one price all you could eat seafood joint. The Boston something.
  7. Not sure of the place I just moved to Cherry Hill lived the rest of my life in PA right over the river. All three cities withing 30 minutes of each other
  8. Hey, Jim, good to "see" you. I was born in Medway and still have relatives there, right next door to the house my dad built back in 1949, boy that's a long time ago.....

We had our big storm a couple of weeks ago, had about 3" on the ground for 2 days  . Nope, don't miss it at all......

You guys think of me in FLA next month, eh? Wish I could make it, maybe we can try again next year.

Believed the place was called the Boston Sea Party. Paid $26, rows and rows of buffet seafood, main course was choice of prime rib or lobster. This would have been early 1980s. I made several trips to do security surveys at different facilities but this was first trip. Food was great and it may be that BSP is in other cities. Maybe a folded francise.

    First It Snowed...Now It's COLD

To ad insult to injury, we've got all of the damn snow on the ground and now we're supposed to stay in the single digits today and go well below zero tonight. What happened to global warming?

One an interesting note which tells me there is light at the end of the tunnel, I saw a flock of about 25 robins yesterday all huddled in a spruce tree. Typically, I never see them until the end of March at the earliest.

Twenty-two days until I'm shooting with Harris :)

  11. Re: First It Snowed...Now It's COLD

    Confused Robins....

Glad you said "with" Harris, and not "at".........

Didn't you know? Global Warming makes it colder. You should have read all those doom and gloom books in the 60's/70's

I have to ask, *** are you doing up at 5:30 am posting? I thought I was nuts. Getting ready for our sunrise shots I hope.

Only 3 wks from today. Maybe we'll get some eagles too.
