High res glass

I realize this is a Nikon forum, and I like Nikon glasses too.
But sometimes I see something about a Zeiss glass that you can't dismiss:

It's not really sharpness, it's the way some elements in the picture that just jumped out and grab you.

That or I had too much coffee :smile:

Thats a great shot. Leica glass does the same thing. It isn't so much that it's very sharp, though it is, but it has more to do with rendering of transitions, edges, and the differentation between in and out of focus. Makes it appear very real and 3D.

Nice shot!

I was hoping to use Zeiss or Leica to see that look [3D-ish], but i started with Canon DSLRs and never have those two brands until i bought my first best camera i can ever afford, H3DII39, since that time and i am friend with Zeiss as started to shoot film with Hasselblad and Mamiya RZII.
