Critique High School Football - Losing

When we think of football we often think of the long run down the field, breaking tackles along the way.
We think of the celebrations along the sidelines, and in the stands.
Flags are waving, crowds are cheering. Bright colors are swirling all around.
But there is another side. Someone has to lose.
One individual player can miss a block, or he reads the wrong adjustment.
With one quick incorrect judgement, he has left his entire team down.
It could cost the game, it could change the season. The entire team, the entire school, the entire town, can be let down.
One error.
That is the pressure these athletes play under, every friday night. It literally pulses along the sidelines.
When I am lucky, I can sometimes catch that feeling, or at least a tiny bit of it. I think it can be important that non players see what they usually never notice.

This is all about playing with the light. Stark, directional, spotty light is terrible to shoot with, until it works.
