Hi forum,

since "working" as a press photog often takes me away from the stuff I "want" to photograph to the stuff I "need" to photograph I sometimes wonder on the "Me" assignment - a subject I never get or are most unlikely to see anywhere else.

I'd like to cover extinction, the present one. If in doubt here goes:

Don't try talking me out of it - I live in a rather rural region, have been in the outdoors since being a kid and I do notice certain species not being there any longer, or not being there anymore in numbers, even common ones like sparrows or wagtails.

How would you cover the ones not being there? How to photograph the disappeared? Eulogy.
