Honeybeeez!

My ornamental holly bush is starting to bloom and the bees have found it. After slowing them down with some honey, they were easier to photograph.

These are all great, but #2 with the detail of the proboscis and the honey is especially great. Thanks for sharing these...I have never been able to get close to this caliber with honey bees, but hoping that will change this year (fingers crossed).

Very nice pics indeed. May I ask you something.. Is it allowed to post a photo in a thread started by someone else or do I have to start a new one ? Wouldn't like to do something that could be perceived as impolite.

@polleni - think it might be more PC to start a new thread and reference this one in that one. Just my $.02, as there's nothing to stop one from doing that.
