Hot Lenses... Ouch!

    According to the article they lost at least two Canon 300mm f/2.8 lenses. Also looked like there might have been a 200mm f/4 in the debris.

    I wonder if they would be covered under warranty.... can you imagine walking up to the counter at Nikon and saying

    "Hey my lens isn't working right!! No... I didn't drop it. I have no idea what happened to it." :eek::eek:

    I'm sure Reuters has plenty of insurance for things like this. It's still sad to see though. Quite the ordeal though, re-routing the entire Tour de France for them and all. :eek: Luckly no one was hurt.
