Some churches I visited in Venice. They are more beautiful in the interior.

Boy would i love to be there in person! Incredible architecture, artwork & history! Nicely seen & shot Tri!

  3. I think the beauty and artwork is lost in a B&W. Excellent shots but they don't do it for me. Sorry.

  4. Beautiful shots. I particularly like #2. Would love to see them in person!

    Steve, Tom and Dossy,

Thank you for looking and commenting. Tom, I am sorry to disappoint you. I chose to convert these into monotone to equalize all beauty in the church including the architecture. Often times, whether at a museum or a famous cathedral, I fail to pay enough attention to the "artistry" of the building housing the beautiful, ornate and colorful art pieces as well as the quality of the light and the interplay of the shadows as a result of.

  6. No dissapointments at all just the way I feel. The inside of a church is beautiful full of color.

  7. Ah but B&W brings out the essentials.
    But then, I'm biassed.

    Impressive set. Love it!
Certainly wants to make me revisit Venice. It's been a while (+ 35 years)
