Hoverflies and more

    Had a good bug shooting day. The garden was full of hoverflies, all different species. These are a few I managed to get a shot of.

    5. This is a tachnid fly, Gonia divisa, so not a hoverfly.

    6. I was not the only one enjoying the hoverflies. This crab spider had caught a meal.

    7. And finally, my first in-flight dragonfly! Not terribly sharp, but I'm still quite chuffed with it.

    Number 4 is my favorite. I looked at your original and it is crisp and there is so much detail I had to look at it a couple of times to take it all in. Very nice!

    Thanks for looking and commenting eveyone.

    Also thanks for the dragonfly ID Torben. I thought it was a brown hawker, but wasn't 100% sure.
