I bought my gear to shoot life around me.
Life's experiences and memories and enjoying life with those around me are the most important things to me right now and, I hope, forever.

Pico-sharp cat whiskers and perfect lighting are all fine and dandy but simply capturing life is what photography is all about for me.

The holidays are the perfect time to apply this philosophy.:wink:

I've put about 350 shots, some good, some unfocused, some touching some lousy on my pbase site for my life's co-participants to view.

Anybody else out there put your gear to good use these last few weeks. Show us what you captured to celebrate life. Toss up some shots for us to enjoy.

The joy and warmth are captured beautiful in these pictures. I very much enjoyed looking at them.

Here a picture of the two most important men in my life and brother in law preparing christmas diner while I was teaching my sister in law how to preprocess photos in PS :biggrin: . The photo was not taken with my Coolpix but my ex Sony now owned by my sister in law :smile:
