In this photo I am trying to capture the fall evening before dusk at Lake Sydney Lanier at Buford, Georgia.
Exif:
D200/17-55 Dx/17mm/Iso 400/High Iso Nr on/Aperture priority/Multi-pattern exp./1/40s -f/7.1
Though I used my preprogrammed bank for landscape (color space IIIa etc.), forgot to switch to AF-S from AF-C after a bird picture. ):
Much larger original can be accessed by changing -L.jpg to -O.jpg.
I did some basic reading on composition from many sites and sources like Moose Peterson, Ron Reznick but getting a shot reviewed from the Pros here feels tempting.
I have done a basic PP using Nikon Capture NX. Did some levels, color boost etc. I intend to use photoshop in near future after taking some basic workflow inputs from folks like Terry and others here. Mentors may please recommend a few basic photoshop steps that I can incorporate in my workflow.
[Image taken 3371 Feisol tripod with level base and Markins -20 ballhead. Nikon CP-II and Singh-Ray ND filter 3stop was used to capture the image. I think I have more gear than skill ):]
Thanks in advance.
