How do I resize for disc, computer veiwing?

Sep 24, 2007
I have PSE 4 and 6. I would like to put images on a disc, I don't want them to be printable. I did resize for web but when I printed it out was still a very good image. What size do you use? Thanks.

You can do a few things.. but really, even relatively low quality photos that are viewable for the web will print out nicely at sizes <4x6. The best way is to include a watermark across the image - such as a copyright symbol with your name.. put a 30% opacity on it and it will be visible but will not detract from viewing on the web but will not be something you'd want to print.

The other way would be to ensure the dpi is lower than 72 or so... also, be sure you size the photo less than 640x480.. both of these will help but in the end.. they will still be printable.

Good Luck!
