Discussion in 'Sports Photography' started by Randy, Apr 8, 2007.

  1. fast enough to get both ends of a double play

Red Sox @ White Sox, AAA
after weeks of HS BB I needed this
12 innings, White Sox won 4-3 in the bottom of the 12th
    60F and carolina blue skys

Excellent series, Randy. looks like you had great seats. I love #2 and #3 that shows the shortstop, ball, and the base runner.

  7. thx Jim
they don't draw many for day games and I only go to day games so it works out where I can sit anywhere I want
I forgot how good AAA was after shooting HS & College for the last month...these guys can play the game

Great shots Randy! Seeing the runner headed to first in the 2nd and 3rd shots make this series for me.

  14. These are awesome shots!!! Bummer the Sox lost. Home opener today in less than 8hrs!! YAHOO!!!

How far back were you? In the stands or did you have some sort of credentialling to get you in closer?

Is this played at that stadium that has the big baseball water tower?

  15. Well it helps that the photgrapher is fast also

  16. Thx Gretchen
i sat 2 rows up from the field between home & 1st...
My press pass is for HS sports so i can't get on the field but I'd rather sit where I did than stand on the field.
For hs bb i can stand on the field but it worries me and wears me out

Yes, this is in Rock Hill SC, where they have the giant BB
I never knew it was a water tower tho

  17. Hmmm.....that could be an invalid assumption on my part (that it's a water tower). I've been by it many times (my parents live down in Fort Mill) and I just "assumed" it was a water tower (b/c many such structures up here are). Sorry!
