Guidelines for image dimensions and file size for posting in image threads:
From Flickr
This is a step-by-step instruction on how to post from Flickr, and is accurate as of February 2016. If Flickr changes its format again, all bets are off. You might have to be logged in your Flickr account to see the sharing options, depending on the Photostream options.
1. Find the sharing icon at the bottom right corner of the image and click on it.
2. You will see this window for grabbing the code. Select BBCode first, then select the size of the image to post.
3. Copy the entire text in the code window
4. Paste the code in the NikonCafe message window. Do not use the IMG tags, as these are already built into the Flickr code.

5. Repeat this process for all the images you want to post.

- If you are uploading to image threads using our direct upload method, there is no limit on image dimensions (will be automatically resized to 1600px if necessary), and the file size limit is 50MB (will be compressed automatically).
- If you are hotlinking (embedding) an image in a forum thread which is externally hosted (stored) on a site like Flickr, Smugmug, Picasa, Zenfolio, Facebook, etc, please keep the image maximum dimension to 1600px and file size maximum to 1MB per image. This helps to keep the threads speedy for members who aren't on high speed connections.
