Chris, I've never shot T&F, but your series sure makes me want to. I've wanted to shoot hurdles the way that you did, from straight on, I think that perspective is very cool. I also like your long jump shots, nothing beats sand flying everywhere. Sweet series!

No.10 for gold!!!

For the front on track shots do you pre-focus or just let the AF keep up with them?

thanks Frank, used my 300 for the hurdles so I could be way beyond the finish line and was kneeling...and for long jump, I'm laying prone on the ground.

#8 and #10 are fantastic. Nice to see some track and field for a change.
Thanks, hope to shoot it again soon.

Thanks Russ, I pre-focus a bit and then let AF go. High jump is difficult, I pre-focus on the bar area and try to pick them up just as they reach it.

I like them, and its good to see the results of sunshine! Is #6 a bit over processed in the face, or is that just the angle?

Chris,
I love 3, 8, 10, yet you need to get Tim out there to shoot some shot put and long jump for you, I'm sure he would love to have a try at those field events again.

Chris great set. Looks like an invitational as there are teams I wouldn't guess would be normally competing against 'Gonk...
Thanks Geoff, yup, it was Varsity Invitational

Thanks Tim...sure might be, bad lighting for many of them.

Thanks Steve, yeah those are fun, esp LJ.

Terrific set Chris!
Love the jumpers, flying and landing.
Fred
Thanks Fred!
