I've always been impressed by Brenizer portraits and either forget to try them or have difficulty merging all the out of focus backgrounds. I took this HS graduate photo a week or 2 ago of my Girlfriends daughter and took 1 attempt at the brenizer method. I'm pretty happy how it came out.

These are both very nice and each has its strengths. I had to look up "Brenizer portraits" to remind myself what is involved. Did you stitch horizontal or vertical images?

I'm somewhat bothered by the extremely bright areas in the upper corners of the first one. I would be tempted to tame this with ND filters in processing.

They were horizontal images stitched.
Yes the highlights are a bit distracting in the wider shot and the highlights on the boardwalk really distract me. Mom and daughter love the 1st image and don't see the distractions so thats good. lol.
