Here are a few shots I took during the league championship recently.

Nice work, Mike (I'm assuming mke is Mike, correct me if I'm wrong.) Your work is better than some of the stuff I've seen in the Pojo recently. Shoot me an IM if you are interested because I'm always looking for local freelancers to work for the TH-R, especially on your side of the river and especially if you are capable of and like shooting sports.

I like the low angle you got on the hurdles.

Chris, thanks. I have been shooting hurdlers head on many times and wanted to try a different angle this time. The back of the track is a parking lot and it is difficult to get a shot without any cars, no matter what position I shoot from. I am grateful only one vehicle showed up  The B&W look does make it less distracting. I think it was a red vehicle. :frown:

Very nice series, Mke! Were you trying to drag the shutter on #6?

Bob, it was a panning shot. What is a bit challenging is figuring out the shutter speed for a runner. Clearly boys run faster and I will use a faster speed. Race distance also matters. The girl in this photo was running a 3K race and her speed was moderate.
