Humming Away

  1. It's hard to captures hummers without a long lens.
    This I was the best I could do at 105mm.

    I like that, Virginia. There's a lot of emphasis on getting close-ups of birds in the ideal pose on an ideal perch, but I enjoy wider shots of birds showing their interaction with their natural surroundings too. [In fact, I had intended to do something similar this evening, but got back from dinner too late.:frown:] [double exposure or composite?]

  4. Excellent composition. Is the two headed hummer indigenous to the Bay area? (Sorry I could not resist that.)
