    Just read your original post. D300 & 300 f/4, 1.4TC. Cool. I have that setup...but I need to practice about a bazillion more years until my shots are as good as yours. The good thing is, hummers are all over my neighborhood.
    Again, what kind of shutter speed ranges? Flash? Tripod?

  4. incredible shots
    every one of them

    thanks for sharing them with us

  5. Thanks,Art.:smile:
  6. Thanks for your comments, Pat.

    As for the setup,I used a tripod with a sidekick. For hummers pearching
    on a tree, I used 1/60s-->1/125s, f/8--> f/10 and iso 1250.

    For all the flash shots( I used 5 flashes),1/250s,f/11,iso 250-->320.

    With some practice and tons of patience,you'll be able to produce
    some good shots.

    You're lucky enough to have many hummers in your neighborhood.
  7. Thanks for your kind comments,Greg.
