Wow what a great variety of hummers. I have only seen a Ruffus and Anna's around here. Great shots.

    nicely done!

  6. This series is breathtaking!!! We only have ruby-throated humming birds in our area. It's so nice to see a variety of species.

Those are fantastic!!! Also timely, because I have been wondering about the quality of the 300 f4.0 af-s compared to my older 300 f4.0 - it would be nice to have a little extra focusing speed for fast moving dogs who are close to the lens.

  8. Thank you ,Jordan.

  9. Thank you, Crystall. While I was in AZ,I met some people visiting from your area and they told me the same thing.
They were very happy and excited about seeing a variety of hummers.

  10. Thanks for your kind word. I haven't used a non AFS 300 f4 so I can't
compare them, but this 300 f4 -AFS has been a working horse for me
and I think it's a great lens. I sometimes see a good deal on this lens
    here at Nikon Cafe.
