    Great shots Frits and Dave! Maybe one of these days I'll get up early enough to make it to the duckpond....nah, who am I kidding? I'll leave that to the rest of you all!:wink:
     
  8. no joking! Those ducks are so ugly! BUT ya'll sure can make em look almost good! Photography wise, they're great! Ugh, well I hope I make sense!

    I like to think of myself as a (modern) Southern Belle...and I'm not offended. I just let it run off like water on a duck's back....:biggrin:

    You know - sure, these ducks are generally regarded as ugly. But ugly here probably is more like "different from a perceived standard". I would argue that these are more photogenic then many a mallard (portrait wise). I thought they were cute.
    Had a bit of an attitude also :smile: , more like a goose. I wouldn't get too close to these...
