You guys actually make those ugly creatures look good.
Exactly what I was thinking! Great images!
Just imagine what their kids would look like!!!
Great shots Frits and Dave! Maybe one of these days I'll get up early enough to make it to the duckpond....nah, who am I kidding? I'll leave that to the rest of you all!
no joking! Those ducks are so ugly! BUT ya'll sure can make em look almost good! Photography wise, they're great! Ugh, well I hope I make sense!
I think you just insulted a few Southern Belles.
I like to think of myself as a (modern) Southern Belle...and I'm not offended. I just let it run off like water on a duck's back....
I think of you as a Southern Belle also Leigh, if ever I saw one...but I fail to see what the connection is with the duck caption...
LOL, Frits I think we southern belles are gently picking at ya!
Maybe just a little...
OK, y'all  had me going for a second...
Wow, those are some sharp, pretty photos of some really ugly critters, Frits and Dave!
You know - sure, these ducks are generally regarded as ugly. But ugly here probably is more like "different from a perceived standard". I would argue that these are more photogenic then many a mallard (portrait wise). I thought they were cute.
Had a bit of an attitude also  , more like a goose. I wouldn't get too close to these...
Excellent although I suspect the Belle is a Beau
Aarrgghh, burst my bubble John  . Proof of what I know about birds...
Well I am not that sure, no way I was getting that close.
