Hurricane Katrina photo

Discussion in 'General Discussion' started by Electromen, Sep 23, 2005.

  1. A friend emailed me these photos and said they were Katrina. They were forwarded to her and then to me. Do you think they are real? The reason I question it is, I always question emails from unvarified sources.

  3. Thanks, I was right to be suspicious.
  4. I love Snopes.

Nice images, though. Somehow they cause me to want to flee! Run away! Aaahhh!
  5. Got those images last week. I also said that they can NOT be Katrina's pictures.

Those appear to be individual storm cells rather than the embedded form usually found within cyclones, hurricanes etc.

It just goes to show how puny we are compared to nature.
