some of these were +1 EV it was so dark out. I started shooting the D4 in Manual and Auto ISO ON

Excellent, Randy. Those guys are your version of eagles. You definitely have them dialed in.

As usual..plain impressive.
1 question though regarding the last image,
does it have a different color tone to it , or it is normal?.
thank you .

Thanks

Probably sun coming and going and WB on auto......they actually take on a yellow look in early direct sunlight so I don't adjust WB in PP

Thank you for answering and yes I do notice a yellowish tone on the pics taken at both early morning ,or late afternoon.
People call it the golden hour, but the yellowish cast is annoying sometimes.
thank you.

Great shots as usual...one day I can only hope....

Question - I do everything RAW so should I just leave WB in Auto all the time and adjust post? Or is it situational?

thanks John

i am 99% in Auto, since Auto seems to get it right most of the time it's just as easy to fix it in post as it is to full around changing WB in camera
