I couldn't make up my mind.

  1. I love working with PS smart objects. They are so versatile.

Here are two montages with the same subject, the motilla poppy.
The first is a single image with a modified "sky" background replacement.

The second is a more complex image with more background layers and effects and another smart object.

    Do you have a preference?

    Thanks for looking.

well done on both but the second one appears to busy for me
    but well done
  3. Thanks Lowolf. Yes, the second one is busier. It's a more complex image.
I wanted it to look more 3D and to impart a sense of motion.

Gotta say I like the first as well.
2 is just a tad to busy with the flares.

One of my favorite flowers . Always enjoy seeing them
  7. By far the first one Virginia, nicely done.
  8. Virginia,

Both are nice ...... but the colors and contrast in number one makes it my favorite.

  13. I do like both, the first stands out a bit more, maybe because of the contrast between the light flowers and darker back ground. But I do like the second, as this is the type of image that would hang on the wall of an office more than the first one... Well done...
  14. I like them both Virginia but if I had to choose I would go with the second one.

    Hi Virginia,

    # 1 is my favorite. Wonderful tones, colors and composition

  16. Thanks Melissa and Robert.
It's fun to see how different you can make the same image look.

  17. I like the first one a lot. It has a freshness that unaccountably makes me think of soap powder commercials but don't let that put you off!
  18. Thanks, Wally and Brian!
Brian, I'd love to sell this for a soap commercial!
