I don't have the VR version...but

    Soccer at 400mm is fun

    Local Div II community college game.

    Playing around with some different apertures and ISO's, have not used the D3 much outside in light.

    Nice shots Kurt, push that thing to f/2.8 and watch the backgrounds disappear!!!! I like 2&3 the best

    VR or not , these are some fine images Kurt. I can only dream of having that kind of
    reach. Love 2,3 and 4.

    Thanks guys.

    I know :p and it saves a bit of cash.

    I have only had it a short time and have been in a couple low light situtations where I thought "ok, perhaps VR would be nice to have here" but just bumped up the ISO more than I normally would.
