Discussion in 'Macro, Flowers, Insects, and Greenery' started by MikeT, Aug 9, 2008.

  1. I intended to just shoot some flowers today but ended up getting these butterflies?

I have never shot any bugs before.

Identified! Thanks to RichG for the bug web site.

  5. Cool shots. If you really want to know what they are, there's always WhatsThatBug.com.

  6. Thank you Yvette!

    Thanks SpoonFed!

Thanks Greg! They are saturated but accurate colors. I took the saturation down from VIVID to DX2MODE3 which produced the most accurate colors. The last two were shot in bright sun, they probably would look better shot under an overcast sky.

Thank you RichG! With your link I was able to identify these butterflies.
