I don't normally shoot people, how did I do?

    I agree with Gale. There's a lot of contrast in the image, between the background and the subject and on the subject's face as well. Taken in indirect shade, in the shade of a tree perhaps, with a bit of fill flash would improve the image significantly.

    LOL. :biggrin: Yeah, diddling around can sometimes be that way. It's really true, sometimes less is more. Perhaps you could show us the original.

    I like the contrasty look to him, but I don't think it works well with the blown out sky. If it was a darker setting, it would give it a little more power. Just my opinion anyway :)
