Hi Harry, thanks for sharing your images. I have a question that at one time I knew the answer for but have forgotten over the years. There is a diffence between a snowy egret and a great egret (other than size) and it has to do with the color of their legs and feet. Isn't this a great egret?

The Great Egret has a yellow bill and black feet and legs. Its body length is 37-43 inches with a wing span of 55 inches

The Snowy Egret has a lond slender black bill and blck legs with bright yellow feet. Its body length is 22-27 inches and it has a wing span of 38-45 inches. This guy was definitely a Snowy Egret

Here's a Great Egret

Hey Frank,

Yep, this was shot at the Viera Wetlands. They are only a 15 minute drive from my house. I'm an early riser ans Linda's a late riser so in the mornings I drive down for a couple of hours between 7 and 9 and get some shooting in. I then get home in time to have breakfast with Linda.
