I don't know why but I think its the creativity, humor, beauty and all the rest. But in my years of surfing the internet the thread "Something," is the absolute best thread I've read and participated in.

Just wanted to say thanks to "The Dude" for starting it and everyone participating in it. I've had a tough time the past few months and every time I read posts in the thread I smile when smiles in my life are few and far between.

I agree - I was thinking about this today while paddling around in the sunshine, enjoying nature. That thread is the best thing I've ever read/seen on the internet so far. Take a bow, Dude, take a bow! It has everything in it - peace, joy, sorrow, love, humour, colours.... a very thought-provoking thread.

It's just a down right FUN thread. Whenever I have the time, and I see it pop up, it's a joy to post an image to the stream. Let's see how much longer we can keep it up!

No need to thank me, it is something I saw on another forum and thought it would be fun to try here. I hoped it would reach the 200 replies mark then it kept going and going.

It is a great thread thanks to all who took the time to participate in it and view it. Whithout the Nikon Cafe community there would be nothing about Something

I am glad it could bring a smile to your face in a difficult time.

It is just a great way to use our imagination and share the images we capture. A neat interactive and fun way to share our passions (With an "s" cause we have many!)

It is a great thread.

It beat the 200vr thread over in lens lust for the most replies. For the longest time it was the most replied too thread.

Congats to The Dude and all that have participated.

Cheers!
Patrick, thank you for giving us a place to exchange and share without Nicon Cafe there would be no something, I really think this is the nicest place on the Internet.

You are right it does have everything in it, "peace, joy, sorrow, love, humour, colours" it is about the life we live and what our eyes see as well as what we feel at times.

I am surprise it has gone so long however when I look at it and the replies it is just fun. I twice started at the first post and scrolled through most of it. It is fun, I never thought in a thousand years it would keep going this long, lets keep it up.

It has been alot of fun. Its the first thread I look for when I get on the Cafe. I hope it continues on for a while.
Thanks to all who have participated for making it what it is, fun!
