I love Monarchs...

    Very nice indeed. Is this the latest 300mm f4E, or the AF-S version?

  7. Those are beautifully photographed, Sal. The level of detail is remarkable. Is that the new 300 f/4, or the old AF-S model?
     
  8. Fine series first one for me too - I have that same plant in my yard and love that it attracts such a range of beauties - Monarchs, Hummers and bees/wasps galore.
     
  9. Great captures, Sal! Love the background. My wife is planting milkweed in our garden now to attract Monarchs. They lay their eggs on the milkweed (which is toxic to other insects). She found a larva the other day and was so excited! I hope to see more around our place too.
