Thanks everyone for your kind words. It is really an honor for me to be able to document this bond. I have a rescue dog that came to me 7 years ago and he is very special to me. He was abused for the first 9 months of his life. But he is terrified of the camera so unfortunately I am not able to get any pictures of myself with him, which is sad for me. The only way I can kind of sneak in a picture is by taking one with my phone but the quality is not so great. The "paw" in the picture is actually a dog that was adopted from a shelter. Actually, she had two dogs and they were both rescued from shelters. Now they are just spoiled rotten. :)
