I made an error

Discussion in 'Lens Lust' started by gbenic, Nov 16, 2005.

  1. I "accidentally" purchased a Sigma 35-70mm, f2.8-4 with the case. I don't have any use for it. Is there any value to this thing and is anyone interested in it for not a lot of money? It appears to be in great condition, but I have no way to test it.

    Thanks.

    hi greg-

that looks just like the sigma i used to have that my dad got me with my nikon EM. it should be an AI lens, so you can mount it on any of the dslr's if you want to test it (it won't meter with the D50/70/70s/100 though). take a look at the bottom of the lens to see if it's AI or not.

i don't remember much about the quality of that lens, other than it was OK stopped down.

  5. If the rabbit ears have holes in it (not plain), then it's an AI lens.
