I otter be in pictures

    Hi Y'all,


    We have a pair of otters in the Viera Wetlands. Normally you may see them for a fleeting second as they bob a noise out of the water or when they scamper into the water after crossing over from the next cell.

    A while back I was just standing there talking to this other shooter when an otter comes out of the water.

    Otterlicious photos! I didn't know there are otters in your area. Looks as if he put on some camo seaweed to get away in that last shot.

    Excellent catches Harry. About the only time I've seen one was with you out on Black Point Drive when a family of them crossed the road up front of us.

    *LOL* Looks like you'll have to travel with a minnow bucket from now on! Like putting seed out for the birds. The otter up at my lake will actually open your minnow bucket looking for minnows. They'll bring them out, and eat them on the deck of your boat! Unfortunately, I saw this SANS camera last year - fun to watch :smile:

    Thanks Louie and I remember that family crossing the road. That had been my usual view of otters.

    Hi Harry, I got some nice otter shots the third time I was at Viera this past Winter. He was feeling for snails on the palm trees. Is "Miss Duck" still around? I will take you out for some owl shots one day next Winter. Viera is such a fun place to shoot. I have not had a day off in 8 weeks! I am redy to go back to Fla now! Have fun!
