Cold. Wet. Windy. Backlit. Fairly inaccessible. I captured a few decent pics but nothing with any pop. My teeth chattering didn't help.

Nice in-flight shot! And #1 and 2 are really nice....maybe just needs a little noise reduction.

When I photographed puffins in Newfoundland, I was wearing ski powder pants, down jacket, thermals, etc, etc. And it was such dense fog it was misty wet on everything! LOL!

I love puffins! I saw my first puffins this summer in Alaska, but didn't get very good pictures. I think you did a good job with what you were given. I quite like the first in the grass.

You did well considering the circumstances, and I can identify with the cold, wet and windy. That's Iceland.

My mind always poses other questions: where in Iceland, and when? Recently?

I toured Iceland in June of 2017 and also faced cold, wet, and windy. Saw a few puffins at the Latrabjarg cliffs.
