ID Please - Eastern Phoebe

This guy allowed me to get fairly close and take some shots of him. My Michigan field guide doesn't show any bird that resembles him/her. I tried looking on the internet, I just can't match him up.

It looks like a phoebe to me. But, I am not an expert by any means on the flycatchers.

It is actually in my guide but they list it as being greyish. The actual picture of the example they use is a pretty dark greyish bird to. My guy here looks pretty brown to me.

But yes, it looks like what you guys suggested for sure. :smile:

The ones we have down here are also brown, although with a slightly darker head.

From the info I read it seems that they can vary a little in tones/shades from
area to area... That may be what's happening, but I'm far from an expert...
