OK, I posted this in another thread and called it a lesser yellowlegs. But I looked up the LY and it has a longer/sharper beak. So anyone know what this is?

It may be one of the birds in this list... Some are very similar so it would be hard
without more images from different angles to tell what, not to mention whether it's
a male or female which may look different than each other...

Also, I think it's hard to tell at that angle just how long/short that bill really is though
I'd agree it's probably shorter than the Yellow leg...

Thanks, William. Looking at the photos and based on range/habitat I'd say it's the surfbird. I know birders spot them in this area pretty frequently. Thanks for the assist.
